Melkus RS 1000

Melkus RS1000 captured at the Bremen Classics. Fairly rare car from Dresden - produced from 1969-1979 in 101 copies - plus 15 in connection with the 50-year Jubilee in 2014.
Center engine, three-cylinder two-stroke engine (Wartburg 353) with 70 hp v. 4750 rpm. Enough for 13.4 s to 100 km/h and a top speed of 165 km/h. 5-speed gearbox, independent suspension on all four wheels and a weight of 690 kg.
No pictures of the rear as the car was parked in a corner... Googled some of the information, others are from info at the car.
I'm a bit crazy about the design... Enjoy...
